About The Position

Boot Solutions is changing the way custom ski bootfitting is done. Instead of fitting customers in person, we use 3D scanning technology to create physical replicas of each customer's feet. Those replicas move through our Salt Lake City production facility, where our team modifies and customizes each pair of boots. We're looking for a Ski Bootfitting Production Technician whose primary station will be punching and grinding. This is a hands-on, non-customer-facing position and a unique opportunity to take traditional bootfitting skills into a completely different production environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous ski bootfitting experience, particularly experience punching and grinding ski boot shells.
Familiarity with ski boot construction.
Familiarity with shell modification.
Familiarity with bootfitting equipment.
Other hands-on ski industry work.

Responsibilities

Punching and grinding ski boot shells using customers' physical foot replicas and custom fit specifications as a guide.
Making precise modifications to create necessary space and fit within each boot while maintaining the integrity of the shell.
Owning the punching and grinding station within the production line.
Inspecting work for accuracy and quality.
Helping to keep orders moving efficiently through the customization process.
Being cross-trained at other production stations and jumping in where needed.
