About The Position
We are looking for responsible, energetic, and dependable individuals who want to make a positive impact in the lives of children. As a Summer Camp Counselor, you will help create a fun, safe, and encouraging environment where campers develop skateboarding skills, confidence, friendships, and a love for being active outdoors. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with kids, being active, and serving as a positive role model.
Requirements
- Experience working with children preferred
- Skateboarding experience preferred but not required
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Able to stay active and on your feet throughout the shift
- Passion for helping children learn and grow
Responsibilities
- Supervise campers throughout the camp day
- Assist with skateboarding instruction and activities
- Promote a safe and positive learning environment
- Encourage participation, effort, and sportsmanship
- Help with setup and cleanup of camp equipment
- Support beginner skaters as they learn new skills
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Represent THE SKATESIDE in a positive manner
