About The Position
This course will explore historical and contemporary social work practices within Euro-Western child welfare models and service sectors. Truth and Reconciliation Commission recommendations related to child welfare will inform a review of how community-based practices and social work approaches interact with governmental, organizational, and community authority issues and ethical dilemmas.

Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures for the Child Welfare Practice course.
- Engage with students on historical and contemporary social work practices within Euro-Western child welfare models and service sectors.
- Incorporate Truth and Reconciliation Commission recommendations related to child welfare into course content.
- Review community-based practices and social work approaches in relation to governmental, organizational, and community authority issues and ethical dilemmas.
- Assess student performance based on course requirements and collective agreement criteria.
- Manage course administration, including grading and coordination if applicable.
