As the Six Sigma Thermal Safety Investigator, you will investigate the performance of Ford vehicles, components, or systems in real world thermal accidents.

Requirements

• Strong interest in learning and technical development.
• Ability to communicate with the Office of General Counsel to discuss technical theories, product design allegations, and technical evidence.
• Ability to conduct forensics work evidence and testify in depositions or trials.
• Experience defining and directing the fabrication of supporting engineering trial presentation materials and exhibits.
• Experience working with OGC, outside attorneys, and consultants as a Company Representative during trial, observing court proceedings, discussing opportunities with counsel, and providing testimony.
• Ability to interface with subject matter experts.
• Ability to lead cross-functional groups to scope challenges and drive to resolution.
• Ability to present status and findings to management.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to 6-Sigma tools and methods.
• Familiarity with several different commodity components, systems, software, and Engineering groups.
• Experience with data analytics.
• Familiarity with Ford’s vast array of technology resources.
• Knowledge of the physics of how systems and components work to support project problem solving.

Responsibilities
