About The Position
The Sitter - Float Pool position is part of the Nursing Float Pool and is a Per Diem role, working nights from 7p-7:30a at Prime Healthcare St Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL. The role involves sitting with and observing patients and their surroundings to ensure safety and prevent injuries. The One to One Patient Observer assists the Registered Nurse with non-nursing tasks within their scope of training and experience.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintains responsibility to sit with and observe the patient and his/her surrounding environment to promote safety and prevent possible injuries.
- The One to One Patient Observer assists the Registered Nurse in non-nursing tasks within the scope of training and experience.
