Sitecore Developer
About The Position
CGI is seeking an experienced Sitecore XM Cloud Developer to design, develop, and support modern digital experiences using Sitecore’s cloud-native platform. This role will focus on building scalable, headless applications leveraging Sitecore XM Cloud, CSDK, GraphQL, Next.js, and React. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on Sitecore development experience along with a solid understanding of headless architecture, modern front-end technologies, API integrations, and cloud-based deployment practices. This position is hybrid and can be performed in NY, NJ or CT - may need to work out of White Plains, NY 2 times a week.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience developing solutions with Sitecore XM Cloud (SaaS CMS).
- Experience with Sitecore CSDK and Sitecore Edge (GraphQL).
- Experience with Sitecore Personalize, Sitecore CDP, or related Sitecore AI capabilities.
- Strong proficiency with Next.js, React, and JavaScript.
- Experience developing applications using Node.js-based technology stacks.
- Strong understanding of headless CMS architecture and modern web application development.
- Experience integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms such as Vercel, Netlify, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications and digital experiences built on Sitecore XM Cloud.
- Develop headless Sitecore solutions using Sitecore CSDK and Sitecore Edge GraphQL APIs.
- Build scalable, high-performing front-end applications using Next.js and React.
- Integrate Sitecore applications with REST and GraphQL APIs and other enterprise systems.
- Support personalization and customer experience capabilities using Sitecore Personalize, CDP, and related Sitecore AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
- Participate in application deployment and CI/CD processes using modern DevOps tools and cloud hosting platforms.
- Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to performance, scalability, and overall platform improvements.
