About The Position

Technical Architects assess a projects technical feasibility, as well as implementation risks. They are responsible for the design and implementation of the overall technical and solution architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, the solution principles guiding the organisation, the software design and the implementation. A Technical Architect is responsible for driving the strategy, architecture, governance, and delivery of enterprise digital experience platforms, customer-facing web applications, marketing technologies, and cloud-based solutions. The role combines AWS architecture, digital platform leadership, stakeholder management, and team governance.

Requirements

  • AWS Cloud
  • Strong expertise with: AWS Certificate Manager (ACM), Amazon Cognito, AWS Amplify, Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, AWS Networking, EC2, Amazon RDS
  • Digital Experience Technologies: Sitecore, Drupal, .NET, Node.js, Google Analytics (GA), Google Tag Manager (GTM), OneTrust, Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • CRM & Marketing Platforms: Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Veeva, Enterprise CRM Platforms, Marketing Technology (MarTech) Solutions
  • Architecture & Leadership: Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Cloud-Native Design, Platform Governance, Digital Transformation, Application Architecture

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical owner for enterprise web and digital experience platforms.
  • Define architecture roadmaps and platform modernization strategies.
  • Lead architecture reviews, solution design, and technical governance.
  • Drive scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and platform enhancements.
  • Design and manage AWS-based digital platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards.
  • Lead cloud modernization, standardization, and optimization initiatives.
  • Support platform scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
  • Partner with business teams to translate digital experience requirements into technical solutions.
  • Facilitate solution workshops, architecture discussions, and strategy sessions.
  • Provide recommendations on digital platform investments and future capabilities.
  • Serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Lead multiple technical teams and platform workstreams.
  • Establish architecture standards, engineering best practices, and governance processes.
  • Mentor architects, developers, and technical leads.
  • Manage technical priorities, risks, and resource planning.
