Learn more at concentricusa.com. Job Summary The Motive Power-Site Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing motive power equipment. This position conducts basic troubleshooting, field and shop repairs, and responds to customer needs. This position typically reports to a Service Manager or a Lead Technician and has no direct reports. Training will be provided on the Battery Charger systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, required. Technical or trade school preferred.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Working knowledge of basic AC and DC electrical/electronic theory.
  • Experience in material handling environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Capable of organizing his/her own work and working independently, with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices.
  • Can clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer needs.
  • Proficient at developing and maintaining strong workplace relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime and/or report for emergencies.
  • May need to work various shifts.
  • May require travel up to 5%, some overnight travel may be required.

  • Technical or trade school preferred.
  • Experience in material handling environment is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Utilize all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), work safely while following all safety requirements, including the completion of monthly safety trainings.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance ensuring compliance with recommended timelines.
  • Troubleshoot battery and charger systems.
  • Perform repairs at customer locations and company shops.
  • Maintain up-to-date expertise by engaging in ongoing training and continuous learning in response to rapidly changing technologies.
  • Ensure timely resolution of client requests with a strong emphasis on professionalism and high-quality customer care.
  • Complete all work orders and customer facing documentation while adhering to company expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to 5S methodology.
  • Work independently and/or with a team in a professional, respectful manner.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
