Our customer-centric solutions include Fluid Separation for Metalworking and Manufacturing, Industrial Fluid Control, Plant Process Optimization, Corn Oil Extraction, and Oil Flow Optimization. We are currently looking for a Site Technician to help build upon a track record of growth and success in the Oakville, Ontario area. This position is responsible for the maintenance and support of our customers' metalworking fluid systems and provides troubleshooting support. Once training is completed, the hours and work schedule of this position would be 5:00am – 1:30pm. Some weekend rotation is expected for either shift. We are ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit for the role. You'll first hear from someone in Talent Acquisition and then the next step will be a personal interview with our Hiring Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equal equivalent.
• Some industrial / manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Good personal communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Customer relations & problem resolution skills.
• Effective time management skills and attention to detail.
• Self-Starter, ability to work independently under general supervision.
• Perform reading, writing, and speaking at a basic level.
• Perform the basic functions of arithmetic; add, subtract, multiply and divide various units of measure.
• Ability to apply rational principles to solve practical problems and situations that may occur on the factory floor.
• Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule type form.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to pass security clearance.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check / drug tests.

Nice To Haves

• Nexus Card is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and support of our customers' metalworking fluid systems
• Troubleshooting support
• Comply with all aspects of the Trucent safety program, including but not limited to; hazard communication, PPE requirements and attending safety training.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
• Adhere to all customers facility safety policies and business ethics
• Handles waste to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
