The Security Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily security operations at an assigned site. This role ensures the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets while supervising security officers, enforcing policies, and maintaining high service standards. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 2–5 years of security experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Valid security guard license (if required by location)
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and act effectively in emergency situations
  • Knowledge of security systems, procedures, and best practices
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications

Nice To Haves

  • No experience necessary! If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct security staff on assigned shifts
  • Ensure all post orders and company policies are followed
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the facility
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms in a timely manner
  • Prepare and submit detailed incident and activity reports
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate security officers
  • Schedule staff and manage shift coverage to meet site needs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and management
  • Enforce access control procedures and visitor management protocols
  • Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms, etc.)
  • Conduct investigations into security breaches or incidents
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
