About The Position

U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking a Site Supervisor for our Hardeeville, SC location. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the daily operation and cleanliness of the Rest Area Facility they are assigned to.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2-3 years relevant work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable OSHA standards.
  • Janitorial and Maintenance knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to lead, manage and direct employees.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the maintenance and/or repair of buildings or other structures.
  • Ability to multi-task and complete assigned duties efficiently.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
  • Professional appearance and manner.
  • Must be able to manage a variety of personality types without exhibiting stress.
  • Varying schedule, able to work all hours including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Valid Driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft office a plus

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all contact requirements are met at each designated Safety Rest Area.
  • Supervising, managing, and directing Rest Area Attendants by maintaining a consistent daily presence as required.
  • Ensuring that facilities and grounds are cleaned according to contractual standards.
  • Conducting mandatory weekly inspections, at a minimum.
  • Responding within sixty (60) minutes of notification to an emergency or as directed by the client.
  • Being contactable twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.
  • Performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the Attendant or Weekend/Lead Supervisor while performing each role. Assisting attendants and staff as needed to ensure that all work is completed.
  • Identifying areas within the facility and grounds that need maintenance, repair, or replacement.
  • Overseeing sub-contractors at the direction of the Area Managers and Project Manager and their staff.
  • Performing regular inspections of restrooms and common areas for sanitation, cleanliness, order, malfunctioning equipment, and safety.
  • Performing minor maintenance of facility such as changing light bulbs or filters, etc.
  • Greeting customers and assisting them with any questions or concerns.
  • Recognizing hazardous environments and correcting the issue accordingly.
  • Updating all required documentation on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Promoting a positive culture of safety to reduce and/or eliminate accidents and injuries.
  • Performing job in a professional manner with a strong work ethic in an effort to “lead by example.”
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
