Site Supervisors play a pivotal role in Morgan's dynamic world of heavy civil construction. This role supports multiple projects in Nevada, requiring a 14/7 rotation and 12-hour shifts (days and nights). Lodging or a living/subsistence allowance is provided. The position involves performing work in support of the Project Scope mandate, maintaining professional relationships with clients, assisting with equipment maintenance scheduling, and motivating and delegating tasks to the crew. The role emphasizes inspiring productivity, promoting training, building knowledge in safety practices, scheduling, trade knowledge, and employee engagement, while adhering to project specifications and guidelines. Effective communication with supervisors and personnel is crucial for smooth operations. The Site Supervisor champions Morgan's safety culture by adhering to Safe Work Procedures and PPE policies, demonstrating a strong understanding of safety protocols, and maintaining awareness of the surrounding environment and potential hazards. This includes performing JSAs and FLHAs as required. The role demands exceptional judgment, problem-solving skills, versatility in collaboration, and the ability to take ownership of tasks. Responsibilities also include operating a 2-way radio and performing labor duties as required.
