About The Position

Henderson Building Solutions is seeking Site Superintendents in Boardman, Oregon across multiple experience levels to support our growing Mission Critical work. This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day field execution of construction projects, including site logistics, safety compliance, scheduling, labor coordination, and quality control. We are hiring across multiple levels (Site Superintendent I–III). Candidates will be aligned to the appropriate level based on experience, skills, and leadership capability. Scope and complexity of responsibilities will vary accordingly.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in field construction supervision (for Site Superintendent I)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in field construction supervision (for Site Superintendent II)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in field construction supervision (for Site Superintendent III)
  • OSHA 30-hour certification required
  • CPR/First Aid certification required (for Site Superintendent II and III)
  • Trade school education preferred (for Site Superintendent I)
  • Basic experience supporting or overseeing field crews (for Site Superintendent I)
  • Experience overseeing field crews and coordinating subcontractors (for Site Superintendent II)
  • Demonstrated experience leading large or complex construction projects (for Site Superintendent III)
  • Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and development of field staff (for Site Superintendent III)
  • Understanding of construction safety regulations and jobsite practices
  • Ability to recognize hazards and implement corrective measures
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations, quality control processes, and jobsite practices (for Site Superintendent II)
  • Ability to manage scopes or projects independently (for Site Superintendent II)
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills (for Site Superintendent II)
  • Advanced understanding of construction safety, quality, and execution strategies (for Site Superintendent III)
  • Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills (for Site Superintendent III)
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Ability to successfully navigate in a variety of settings, including on project sites.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and printer.
  • Routine driving to local/regional project sites required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Occasional overnight travel to other regional offices and/or remote project sites is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in or lead development of project schedules in coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Provide input on schedule of values and update project completion percentages for billing purposes
  • Plan and manage site logistics to ensure efficient workflow and minimal disruption to client operations
  • Direct day-to-day site operations including coordination of labor, materials, and equipment
  • Review construction methods and adjust execution strategies to meet project goals and timelines
  • Track and communicate project progress, milestones, and schedule impacts
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including schedules, reports, and field updates
  • Ensure labor continuity and proactively address potential disruptions to the project schedule
  • Coordinate subcontractors and field teams to maintain productivity and alignment with project timelines
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to minimize impact to ongoing operations
  • Support resolution of labor challenges, including union and non-union considerations as applicable
  • Implement and maintain the organization’s quality control plan for each project
  • Monitor field execution to ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations
  • Identify quality concerns and communicate with leadership to develop and implement corrective action plans
  • Ensure corrective actions are executed without unnecessary disruption to the project schedule
