Novacom Building PartnersVancouver, BC
CA$120,000 - CA$145,000Onsite

About The Position

Novacom is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead a $6M ground-up, wood-frame townhouse project in Vancouver, BC. This role is the on-site leader from project startup through occupancy, responsible for site logistics, multi-trade coordination, schedule execution, and quality control. The project begins in July 2026 and is expected to last approximately 14 months, with additional multi-family and base building work to follow. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, clear communicator, hands-on problem solver, and meticulous organizer with proven experience in multi-family or commercial construction.

Requirements

  • 6-10+ years' experience in multi-family or commercial construction, with proven Site Superintendent experience on ground-up base building projects
  • Track record running projects from startup through occupancy — mobilization, trade sequencing, envelope, and turnover
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and quality control
  • Excellent communication and leadership — comfortable being the on-site face of the company with clients, consultants, and trades
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Outbuild, Microsoft Teams)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must reside in Greater Vancouver and be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • Wood-frame multi-family / townhouse experience
  • Gold Seal Certified, BCIT Construction Management, or equivalent credentials
  • Availability to start immediately or within 2 weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily construction site activities and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate trades and suppliers, build strong relationships, resolve challenges quickly, and keep all work progressing efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the PM team to align site execution with schedule, budget, and client expectations.
  • Act as the on-site representative in meetings with architects, consultants, and clients.
  • Use Procore, SiteDocs, and other tools to manage field reports, schedules, change orders, cost tracking, and more.
  • Identify efficiencies, control costs, and provide regular financial updates to leadership.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay — $120,000–$145,000+ per year, commensurate with experience
  • Comprehensive benefits — industry-leading plan for you and your family
  • Modern technology — Procore, Outbuild, and Microsoft Teams, fully licensed and trained — plus truck, phone, and laptop
  • Profit sharing — annual bonus based on company performance
  • Strong culture — a collaborative, family-like team, staff events, and an annual retreat with partners (and an optional El Salvador build trip)
  • You finish what you start — we don't pull supers between projects mid-build, and our PM and admin team owns the paperwork loop so you can run your site
