About The Position

GPSI Guam is a Professional Technical Services Company, headquartered in Hagatna, Guam. GPSI is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Kina'ole Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit established to benefit Native Hawaiian communities. GPSI offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. The Site Superintendent will be responsible for all aspects for the daily operations of the construction project. This position is being filled to support Kina’ole’s Hawaii office located in Honolulu and will support projects throughout the Hawaiian Islands.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in Design Build Construction with projects of at least $10-100M in value
A minimum 5 years of experience on construction contracts as a Site Superintendent
OSHA 30 Certification
First Aid/CPR Certification

Responsibilities

Coordinate the site-specific work schedule, appropriation of manpower, and track material and equipment requirements
Coordinates, schedules and manages field crews and subcontractors in order to execute the construction project on time, on budget
Coordinate daily with Project Manager
Maintain and assist with updating project schedule
Complete daily reporting requirements
Monitor workmanship and maintain compliance with submittal requirements
Read/Understand Plans and Specifications, and update as-builts
Track and complete punch list according to contract requirements
Perform other position-related duties as assigned
