About The Position

Delan Associates is seeking Site Escorts with active DOE "Q" or "L" clearance or DOD Secret to support a plant site in Piketon, OH. If your DOD clearance is within a couple of years, we could look into reinstating it to work this job. The project is with Fluor, and the worksite is located in Piketon, OH. This position is contingent upon contract award. Interviews and preliminary candidate screenings are currently underway to identify key personnel for an upcoming project. The anticipated start date is mid-October 2026, subject to contract award.

Requirements

Active DOE "Q" or "L" clearance or DOD Secret
If DOD clearance is within a couple of years, potential for reinstatement
Ability to maintain continuous positive control of assigned individuals
Ability to maintain uninterrupted visual observation of escorted personnel
Ability to prevent unauthorized movement beyond approved work areas
Ability to verify proper badge display before entry into security-controlled areas
Ability to ensure escorted personnel comply with site security procedures
Ability to maintain communication with the Site Security Organization
Ability to immediately notify the Site Security Organization when conditions exist that may require work to be suspended in order to maintain security compliance
Ability to challenge unauthorized activities in accordance with site procedures
Ability to escort personnel from designated security-controlled areas upon completion of assigned work
Must maintain a Q/L Clearance
Must be cognizant of continuous site changes to ensure knowledge of escorting requirements are maintained throughout the project
Must ensure the new escort has knowledge of the individual’s security plan when applicable when transferring Escort duties
Must always maintain and wear required escort tag while performing escorting duties
Escorts may receive additional training depending on the areas work is performed
Must remain attentive at all times and shall not perform construction, maintenance, inspection, or administrative duties unrelated to escort responsibilities
Must immediately notify Security of any actual or suspected loss of positive escort control, unauthorized access attempts, security violations, suspicious activity, discovery of prohibited items, or personnel misconduct
Authorized to immediately suspend movement of escorted individuals whenever positive control cannot be maintained or a potential security violation exists
Must immediately notify the Site Security Organization of any security concern
Shall not authorize access, waive security requirements, or deviate from established site security procedures
