United Contractor Services is seeking a Site Safety Manager for their commercial construction projects in Jackson, MS. This role is crucial for maintaining safety standards and fostering a safety-conscious culture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safety training, compliance, and ensuring all personnel are up-to-date on safety protocols and regulations. Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on construction safety experience.
• Active OSHA 30 and OSHA 500 certifications.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required for this role.
• Must be able to independently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Model and promote strong, productive leadership across all safety functions.
• Execute and sustain daily implementation of company safety programs on active job sites.
• Lead onsite safety training sessions for employees and subcontractors, and coordinate regular workshops.
• Ensure that both office and field personnel are fully trained in all applicable safety programs, protocols, and federal and state regulations.
