About The Position

We currently have an opportunity for a Site Safety Manager to join Dimeo Construction, a leading construction organization, ranked among the Top 100 Construction Managers in the country. As the Site Safety Manager, you will report to our Corporate Safety Director and play a pivotal role in our team’s success by collaborating closely with the project team to secure essential work plans and permits. Your proactive approach ensures that every step of the project is thoroughly planned, compliant, and ready for action. Your Mission In this role, you will serve as the primary, full-time, Site Safety Manager, supporting a high-profile project in Stamford, CT. You will be considered the driving force behind the administrative procedures of our safety program. By managing vital responsibilities and keeping operations running smoothly, you help create an environment where everyone can work confidently and efficiently— making safety a cornerstone of our project’s success. Your Role · Lead and Inspire: Take ownership of all administrative responsibilities tied to the safety program, leading by example and motivating the team to maintain a safe work environment. Collaborate with the Corporate Safety Director, Client Executive and Superintendent to document incidents, provide follow-up, and demonstrate proactive safety management. · Win Work, Build Relationships: Work closely and collaboratively with the project team to schedule and conduct onboarding meetings, fostering positive relationships and ensuring new team members are prepared. Support the Client Executive in project pursuits by developing interview presentations, preparing materials, and participating in interviews to win new opportunities and strengthen client partnerships. · Deliver Excellence: Provide site safety briefings to new workers, participate in daily huddles and toolbox talks, and offer constructive feedback. Monitor planned work, corrective actions, and punch list resolutions with the project team to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement. · Strategize and Innovate: Partner with the project team to gather and assess information on personnel, equipment, materials, energy sources, and environmental constraints. Identify and address adverse trends by developing interventions and innovative solutions for site safety. · Grow People: Partner with Safety team and Corporate Safety Director to teach, guide, and enhance the skillset of the project team. Proactively provide resource information to service providers, subcontractors, and the workforce to support the project, the industry, and the client.
