The Site Safety Manager directly coordinates with and serves in support of the Project Manager(s) and Superintendent(s). This position plans, leads, directs, and enforces activities on a construction project to identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury, environmental impact, and/or property damage using job-specific safety standards and best management practices that may include all applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations, best practices, policies and programs. The Site Safety Manager champions the safety culture and core principles of BL Harbert International. The Site Safety Manager’s title is often client-driven and may include Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO), Safety and Health Program Manager (SHPM), etc.
