About The Position
The Contractor shall provide on-site safety management services to support construction activities for a solar field project at White Sands Missile Range. Services shall ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, project requirements, and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- One (1) qualified Safety Manager dedicated to the project site
- Present on-site during active construction hours based on a standard weekday schedule (approximately 8.5-hour shifts)
- Demonstrated experience in construction safety oversight
Nice To Haves
- Relevant certifications preferred (OSHA 30, CHST, CSP, or equivalent)
- Experience with solar or industrial projects preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily jobsite safety
- Perform inspections
- Identify hazards
- Coordinate corrective actions
- Conduct toolbox talks
- Provide safety guidance
- Maintain documentation
- Support Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) development and review
