About The Position

V-Line Services LLC is seeking a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) to join their Federal team for a project in Dayton, OH. This role is primarily responsible for developing and reviewing the Accident Prevention Plan and overseeing all safety activities on site. Requirements

• 5+ years of federal construction SSHO experience
• Familiarity with USACE / NAVFAC / DOD safety guidelines
• Current OSHA 30 and EM385 certifications required - must clear USACE specifications
• Detailed understanding of EM 385-1-1 standards and continued education

Responsibilities

• Develop and review the Accident Prevention Plan along with other safety compliance for the project
• Conduct safety inspections daily to identify potential hazards and create safety plans around those hazards
• Lead daily / weekly safety meetings and ensure the worksite does not have any unsafe conditions or behaviors
• Detailed reporting to document safety ratings daily / weekly
