About The Position

EngFlow is seeking a Senior Engineer to join its expanding platform team. The role is part of a global platform engineering hub and focuses on production reliability and product evolution, with primary incident response coverage during the Australian business day. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues across regions and help grow a local team. The team works fully remotely and meets in person several times a year.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or high-level Product Support roles.
• Proficiency in AWS or GCP, Bazel, gRPC, and Java, Golang, or Python.
• A team-first attitude and understanding that local success depends on the collective health and communication of the Australian pod.
• Exceptional ability to document complex issues for a global, asynchronous audience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary responder for high-priority production incidents during the Australian business day.
• Work with the core product team to identify recurring support patterns and develop fixes and feature enhancements.
• Participate in daily handovers with EMEA and US teams to ensure continuity of operations.
• Foster a collaborative culture by sharing knowledge and performing code reviews.
• Help grow a local team and contribute to the collective health and communication of the Australian pod.
• Document complex issues for a global, asynchronous audience.
