About The Position

Site Reliability Engineer The Opportunity: Engineering to make a system more resilient and efficient frees up time and money to build more capabilities. As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) on our team, you’ll help clients develop more robust systems by building a resilient infrastructure. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair. Requirements

2+ years of experience provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in Cloud environments, including in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration
Experience supporting enterprise Cloud applications or infrastructure
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing such as CI/CD
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Loki, Alloy, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, or Kibana and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
Experience with automation tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible, automating system configurations, and orchestrating network operations and DevOps pipelines, including scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in Cloud environments
Experience managing Git-based version control systems, including GitLab or GitHub
Experience documenting an as-is state of the environment, performing a gap analysis, and producing artifacts that articulate options and recommendations
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree
U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with cybersecurity concepts, including threats, vulnerabilities, security operations, patching, boundary defense, auditing, or authentication
Experience identifying and implementing automation to improve user experience (UX)
Experience scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby
Experience with open technologies, DevOps, and IaC tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Gitlab, Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, and Git
Experience with cloud native container orchestration technologies, including EKS
Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
Experience leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies
AWS, Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Certified Solutions Architect Professional, or Certified DevOps Professional Certification
