About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an Application Support Specialist for a hybrid role with a Global Financial Institution. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The role requires a solid background in Linux and Windows Systems Administration, with a general understanding of skills related to supporting applications such as basic OS troubleshooting, certificate management, password rotation, patching, and coordinating builds of servers and software for development teams. The individual will provide execution support for an application manager.

Requirements

Solid background in Linux and Windows Systems Administration
Linux Command Line to support OS and major middleware products
Windows OS skills
Familiarity with popular middleware products such as IIS, Apache, MongoDB, and MSSQL
Familiarity with JIRA
Basic project skills to help coordinate work across multiple teams

Nice To Haves

Linux Scripting

Software Development Experience (e.g. Python)

Responsibilities
