This vacancy will be filled at one of three levels - Site Reliability Engineer Associate, Site Reliability Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer Senior. Selected applicant will be offered the position that most closely matches their education and experience. Site Reliability Engineer Associate (SRE) is responsible for assisting to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of TRS Information Technology Infrastructure. The incumbent will assist in managing a complex application and infrastructure environment which includes Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft Active Directory, and cloud-based infrastructure such as Microsoft 365. This position will work closely with IT staff and agency employees. The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is responsible for playing a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of TRS Information Technology Infrastructure. The incumbent will maintain the security and integrity of communication infrastructure systems and cybersecurity systems, as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code; and assist in managing a complex application and infrastructure environment which includes Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft Active Directory, and cloud-based infrastructure such as Microsoft 365. This position will work closely with IT staff and agency employees. The Site Reliability Engineer Senior (SRE) is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our Information Technology Infrastructure.
