About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for an 18+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution. This role supports Small Business Lending and Deposit platforms, including digital banking applications. The team is focused on modernization and continuous improvement, including migrating workloads to OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).

Requirements

• 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, application support, or site reliability engineering
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in complex production environments
• Hands-on experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Monitoring & observability, alerting strategies, dashboard creation, and incident response
• Experience with Infrastructure & Platform Engineering: Production deployments, OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), and containerization technologies
• Scripting experience with Python, Unix/Linux, or Shell Scripting
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, or ThousandEyes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code / Automation tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Hands-on experience supporting Salesforce platforms, including application troubleshooting, deployment support, integrations, workflows, APIs, and platform operations

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Salesforce and nCino
• Experience using Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools
• Familiarity with AI-driven monitoring or observability initiatives
• Experience in Financial Services or other large enterprise environments

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily stand-ups focused on production health and support activities
• Investigate and resolve incidents, alerts, and support tickets
• Assist with production deployments and infrastructure changes
• Improve monitoring and observability capabilities by building dashboards and alerting solutions
• Develop automation to reduce manual support efforts
• Support the onboarding of applications migrating to OCP
• Drive continuous improvement in platform reliability and operational efficiency
