About The Position

This role is part of the mthree Alumni graduate program, which pairs recent graduates with global businesses, including tier-one investment banks. The program offers comprehensive training, ongoing support, and opportunities for career advancement. As a production support analyst, you will be responsible for the technical systems and processes that other teams rely on, akin to providing 'healthcare for technology'. The program includes a 4-8 week training period at mthree Academy, followed by a 12-24 month client placement with regular salary increases and potential conversion to permanent employment with the client.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related STEM subject (science, technology, engineering, math).
  • A GPA of 2.75 or higher.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, taking an analytical approach to solve problems.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • The right to work without needing visa sponsorship.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Look after the technical systems and processes that other teams rely on.
  • Discuss production support activity at a high level including ITIL, monitoring, DevOps, SRE, and disaster recovery.
  • Discuss common financial topics, including financial markets, equity trading, derivatives, currency, treasury, regulation, and risk.
  • Write a basic computer program in Python, including user input, common data structures, and flow of control.
  • Use MySQL to perform CRUD operations on a relational database stored in a MySQL Server.
