About The Position

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for a fully onsite role in Reston, VA. The role involves developing and supporting data pipelines to capture and consolidate critical hardware quality telemetry for air-gapped clouds. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand telemetry sources, ingestion, transformation, and utilization for key metrics. The engineer will develop analogous capture and reporting capabilities for air-gapped cloud environments, create and standardize queries across multiple airgap clouds, and build high and low-side dashboards. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with Deployment and Component teams to discover and create new deployment solutions, with an ability to learn new skills and technologies such as LLMs.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience
  • Strong programming and data engineering experience, including: SQL, Python, Azure Data Factory and/or Azure Synapse, Apache Spark
  • Experience working with: Azure Data Explorer, Azure Blob Storage, Kusto Query Language (KQL), Git, JSON, Powershell, C#
  • Familiarity with core cloud computing concepts (Azure preferred)
  • Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • Valid US Passport
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Strong communications and problem-solving skills
  • DoD 8570 Baseline Certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CASP+, CCSP, etc.)
  • CompTIA Server+ and/or CompTIA A+ certifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support data pipelines to capture and consolidate critical hardware quality telemetry for air-gapped clouds.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware developers and data scientists, to understand the sources, ingestion, transformation, and utilization of the raw telemetry for our key metrics in the public space.
  • Develop analogous capture and reporting capabilities for our air-gapped cloud environments.
  • Create and standardize queries across multiple airgap clouds, and build dashboard high and low-side.
  • Collaborate with Deployment and Component teams to discover pre-existing deployment solutions, and create new deployment solutions.
  • Ability to learn new skills/technologies ie LLMs.
  • Provide on-call support 24/7 availability no more than one week every two months troubleshooting and mitigating issues across multiple systems.
