About The Position

The Site Planner 1 is primarily responsible for completion of lot fit requests, redraws, and supporting the New Home Starts department as needed. This role involves completing lot fit requests, site plan redraws, and setting up preliminary site plans from surveys or plats on AutoCAD. The Site Planner must maintain an understanding of current Perry Homes design standards, code, and community guidelines as they apply to lot fits and redraws. Occasionally, this role requires completing projects on very short notice with extreme time constraints.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Requires at least 1 year of experience in basic drafting methods
An understanding of symbols and techniques of drawing via AutoCAD
Basic knowledge of Architectural Language pertaining to residential construction
Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Ability to read blueprints, surveys, Metes & Bounds descriptions

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in Computer Drafting or Design preferred
Experience in civil drafting preferred

Responsibilities
