Valeo is a global tech company focused on designing innovative solutions to transform the mobility industry. As a leading automotive supplier, Valeo partners with automakers and new mobility actors worldwide, aiming to create greener and safer mobility through intuitive driving and reduced CO2 emissions. The company is recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies and offers exciting career opportunities in the evolving automotive sector. This role is responsible for managing project quality, setting and monitoring the quality roadmap to achieve customer and Valeo quality and cost targets, defining and tracking project quality costs, identifying and mitigating risks from project inception to completion, and escalating issues to management when necessary. The position ensures adherence to build-in quality standards, including the use of SPPC tracking sheets and procedures, and challenges other Project Quality Managers on their activities. A key focus is on design and change management, ensuring that novelties in products and processes are accounted for in DFMEA and PFMEA, and that DV&PV verification is performed. The role also involves verifying the use of LLCs in D/P FMEA to reduce RPN and ensuring compliance with the 4M matrix for product or process changes post-design freeze, including customer awareness and approval. Quality documentation must be updated following product/process changes, and participation in Design Reviews, including those with suppliers and toolmakers, is required. The role also entails revising control plans after issues or test results, supporting supplier management activities, and collecting supplier issues and proposals for best practices. Validation of Initial Samples (IS) by the customer on time, defining prototype, pre-serial, and serial control plans, and ensuring consistency between SPPC, FMEA, and control plans are crucial. The role involves preparing IS internal and customer deliverables, ensuring internal Initial Sample files are validated by the Site Quality Manager before customer presentation, and applying QRQC rules. Participation in project QRQC, ensuring project team adherence to QRQC materials and rules, managing the single list of issues, and applying 'Stop at first disagree' and 'Stop at first no' principles are also key responsibilities. Initiating a VIM incident in case of DV or PV test failures is also part of the role.
