About The Position

This role is dedicated to a large, single site, corporate campus in West Chester county NY. The Site Operations Manager provides leadership, direction, oversight and responsibility within a large Fortune 500 corporate campus. Core Responsibilities include providing daily site inspections, weather/condition reports, and operational plans for service. The role involves executing and directing service delivery, managing active storms with pre and post storm plans, and communicating with all stakeholders. Responsibilities include plow, de-ice, and clearing support, reading and implementing facilities maintenance Scopes of Work and Service Level Agreements, and facilitating field communications between team members, Caliber Operations Managers, Caliber Service Management Affiliates, and the client. The role requires managing the client relationship, conducting Service Validations, training and guiding vendors, providing guidance and feedback to Caliber Service Management, and maintaining Quality Control Reports. Problem resolution, customer engagement, and training/presentations are also key aspects. Fostering a positive team environment, ensuring confidentiality, and performing ad-hoc projects are expected. Responsibilities frequently require emergency support, mobilization, and extended engagement including weekends, after-hours, and holidays for property damage and snow emergencies. Safety, Compliance & Communication are critical, requiring strict adherence to safety regulations, proper use of PPE, effective communication with supervisors and team members, accurate record-keeping, participation in training sessions, and collaboration with other crew members. The role also involves fostering a positive team environment and following established regulations.

Requirements

  • Commercial landscape and snow removal experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of commercial snow removal leadership and management required.
  • Physical ability to lift minimum 25 pounds regularly; capable of performing labor in cold weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by weather events and client needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality work.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record and no major traffic violations.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment including wheel loaders, skid steers, or similar machinery.
  • Knowledge of snow removal equipment, de-icing methods, and winter weather operations.
  • Mechanical ability and basic troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

  • SIMA, ASM/CSP certified a plus
  • Strong multi-unit enterprise facilities management experience preferred in the following skills: Landscaping, Irrigation, Snow-Ice Programs, Interior and exterior facilities management, and Janitorial Services
  • Experience in a trade
  • Experience in facilities industry

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily, AM site inspections, weather/condition reports and operational plans for service.
  • Execute, direct, service delivery.
  • Manage active storms, pre and post storm plan and communicate to all stake holders
  • Plow, de-ice, clearing support.
  • Read, Understand and Implement detailed facilities maintenance Scopes of Work and Service Level Agreements.
  • Facilitate communications in the field between team members, Caliber Operations Managers, Caliber Service Management Affiliates, client location.
  • Manage the client; up to and including client Regional Vice Presidents.
  • Conduct Service Validations.
  • Train and guide vendors as required.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to Caliber Service Management.
  • Maintains Quality Control Reports.
  • Resolve customer problems by applying resources as necessary.
  • Engage and entertain the customer as appropriate.
  • Conduct training and presentations concerning scope of work to site personnel and providers.
  • Foster a positive team environment.
  • Ensure confidentiality of internal and external data.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, guidelines, and company policies while operating equipment and working in challenging weather conditions.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including helmets, gloves, protective eyewear, and cold weather gear as required.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, and team members to receive assignments, report completed tasks, provide updates on conditions, and escalate issues or hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed including dates, times, areas cleared, materials used, and equipment hours using company verification app.
  • Participate in training sessions related to safe snow operations, equipment handling, emergency response protocols, and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with other crew members, equipment operators, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective operations across service areas.
