About The Position
Luck Companies is seeking a Mobile Equipment Mechanic I for their Bealeton Plant. This role involves performing maintenance and repair of mobile heavy equipment used in the extraction, crushing, and conveying of aggregate stone products. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mobile equipment.
- Fundamental skill in systems operation, testing, and adjusting of hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems.
- Manage Equipment, Maintenance / Repairs.
- Manage Inventory and Utilize Computer Systems.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance – SOP Services.
- Work with Wear Items (Ex. Ground Engagement Tools).
- Knowledge of Electrical, Hydraulic Systems, Transmissions (Including Torque Convertors), Engine, Differentials, Final Drives, and Brakes.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Nice To Haves
- Trade school education is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on mobile equipment (80% of job).
- Perform reactive maintenance on mobile equipment (10% of job).
- Manage equipment (10% of job).
