About The Position
Centurion is seeking an experienced Physician to serve as the full-time Site Medical Director at the Zephyrhills Correctional Institution located in Zephyrhills, Florida. The Medical Director provides clinical direction for service delivery, directs patient clinical services, and supervises medical staff at the assigned site under the Statewide Medical Director. This role involves collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient and appropriate medical services and participation in committees such as Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required.
- Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required.
- Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
- Ability to pass credentialing and background check.
