About The Position

The SITE MANUFACTURING MAINTENANCE LEADER is responsible for ensuring compliance with Corporate and Division SHE objectives and requirements. This role involves allocating sufficient resources for labor and skills to meet production planning, setting and managing the maintenance budget, and examining departmental capital expenditure requirements. The leader will create and develop planned predictive, preventative, and curative maintenance programs, as well as maintenance spares and workforce training programs. A fully controlled maintenance stores system will be established. The position ensures the quality of work meets company standards and relevant regulations (e.g., electrical, compressed air). Critical spares and specialist contractors will be obtained as needed, and maintenance sub-contractors' activities (permits) will be managed. Support will be provided for new program development in collaboration with the Program Development team. The role involves developing and implementing activities aligned with SHE requirements, customer expectations, and plant objectives, ensuring optimal performance against IPIs, and organizing and leading maintenance activities in the plant according to SHE requirements.

Requirements

  • Certification with a speciality in several of the following fields (mechanical, eletrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics)
  • Proven experience in maintenance of complex production equipment
  • Previous experience in maintenance management
  • Problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of Predictive and Preventative maintenance techniques
  • Lock Out/Tag Out experience

Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance with Corporate and Division SHE objectives and requirements
  • Allocates sufficient resources of labour and skills required to deliver the production planning programme
  • Set and manage the maintenance budget and examine departments requirement for Capital Expenditure
  • Creates and develop planned predictive, preventative and curative maintenance programmes, maintenance spares and workforce training programmes
  • Creates a fully controlled maintenance stores system
  • Ensures that the quality of work is to the standard required by the company and respective regulation (i.e. electrical, compressed air, etc…)
  • Obtains critical spares and specialist contractors when necessary
  • Manages maintenance sub-contractors activities (permits)
  • Provides appropriate support on new programs development in relation with Program development team
  • Develops and implements activities in line with SHE requirements, customer expectations, and plant objectives ensuring optimum performance against IPIs
  • Organizes and lead the maintenance activities in the plant following SHE requirements
