About The Position

The Site Manager is responsible for the daily operational oversight of the Site JBLM, Fort Lewis. This role ensures contract compliance, manages site personnel, coordinates training support activities, and maintains effective communication with the FOCUS Center Manager and Field Operations leadership. The Site Manager ensures that all training support operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with program requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Associate degree/no degree with 14+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing operations for a staffed site or training support environment.
  • Experience supervising personnel in a military or defense training context.
  • Experience coordinating schedules, resources, and deliverables in a fast paced operational environment.
  • Experience working with government customers and supporting contract requirements.
  • Active Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting W TRS, FOCUS Center operations, or similar training support programs.
  • Experience managing surge operations, rotational training events, or large scale training support missions.
  • Familiarity with Army training environments, operational security, and installation procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day leadership and operational oversight for all W TRS site activities.
  • Ensure contract compliance, adherence to performance standards, and timely execution of all deliverables.
  • Supervise site personnel, including scheduling, performance management, coaching, and professional development.
  • Coordinate with the FOCUS Center Manager and Field Operations Director to support surge requirements, rotational training events, and resource allocation.
  • Manage site equipment, materials, and training resources to ensure availability and accountability.
  • Maintain daily/weekly reporting, including operational updates, staffing status, training support metrics, and issue escalation.
  • Serve as the primary on site point of contact for government counterparts, ensuring professional communication and responsive support.
  • Conduct after action reviews, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve site operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, safety standards, and security requirements.
  • Support onboarding and training of new site personnel.
  • Maintain a positive, mission focused work environment aligned with W TRS program objectives.
