About The Position

DashMart is a local-fulfillment center owned and operated by DoorDash, offering customers household essentials and other items to their doorsteps with speed, reliability, and quality. In this role, you’ll manage a 5-15k sq ft distribution center, the local warehouse operating team, and be responsible for ensuring we maintain high quality for our customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of team leadership experience in high volume operations (retail, grocery, hospitality, fulfillment, logistics or operations).
  • Track record of developing people and delivering results.
  • Managed high-performance teams of 10+ employees.
  • Act like an owner, supporting a 24/7 business across multiple shifts.
  • Solve problems from first principles and resist "this is how it’s always been done" thinking.
  • Thrive in ambiguous, startup environments with rapid change and learning.
  • Data-first problem solver with experience using Excel or Google Sheets to analyze data, including basic formulas and pivot tables.
  • A college degree or relevant professional work experience.
  • Flexibility in schedule, including some late-night and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and retain a high-performing team of Shift Leads and Operations Associates.
  • Ensure the team works safely and productively, building a strong, positive culture and driving employee satisfaction.
  • Delegate daily tasks and ensure high performance from the team.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a DashMart warehouse, including preparing food in a light-prep kitchen if applicable.
  • Ensure site processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
  • Manage scheduling and labor budget.
  • Ensure the warehouse meets site-level metric goals.
  • Lead the team in providing customers with the best possible experience on each order.
  • Maintain key quality metrics including order accuracy and fulfillment speed.
  • Work cross-functionally with central teams including inventory and training.
  • Use data to identify pain-points or areas of inefficiency within the warehouse and current processes.
  • Design, build, and execute process improvement projects to improve warehouse operations, quality metrics, and the employee experience.
