About The Position

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ten years of supervisory or managerial experience at a large hub airport.
  • Strong leadership abilities, proficiency in computer skills for trending, queries, and performance analysis of maintained systems.
  • Ability to obtain necessary airport security clearance.
  • Capable of lifting and moving up to 49 pounds.
  • Agility to work in various environments, including outdoors on an airport ramp and in confined spaces around aircraft and baggage conveyor systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily guidance to Site Supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate personnel scheduling, manage work orders, enforce safety protocols, and optimize productivity plans with oversight and cross-utilization of different work groups.
  • Foster a supportive environment by providing on-the-job training and mentorship to team members.
  • Continuously strive for improvement in team dynamics and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and refine processes and documentation to streamline operational activities, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, manage emergencies, and maintain communication with Customers, Airlines, and TSA.
  • Supervise administrative tasks such as HR management and invoicing, ensuring all contract requirements are fulfilled.
  • Promote adherence to company safety standards and procedures.
  • Cultivate a culture of safety awareness and compliance among all team members.
  • Available for 24/7 calls and demonstrate flexibility by working day or night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proactively take on additional duties as required.
  • Attend scheduled and on-demand meetings, system training sessions, tours, and inspections requested by the Airports Authority and/or user Airlines.
