Site Manager - Affordable Housing
About The Position
Trellis Management is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their Minneapolis team. This is a stable, full-time position with no weekends required. The Site Manager will be responsible for the operations of a 248-unit apartment community in Minneapolis, ensuring residents have a safe, clean, and functional living environment. Experience in affordable housing, working with client services, and a diverse population including long-term homeless and disabled clients is preferred. Bilingual skills in English and Somali are considered helpful for serving the resident population.
Requirements
- 3+ years of property management experience that included leasing, staff supervision, working with service providers, long-term homeless and Coordinated Entry.
- Excellent customer service, administrative, clerical, verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize as well as multi-task.
- Valid Driver's License, insurance and a reliable vehicle are a must.
Nice To Haves
- Some affordable housing experience is preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Somali is helpful.
- Yardi & Rent Café experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Receive and deposit rent payments & initiate late rent notices
- Monitor staff performance & approve timecards
- Market property and work with applicants from tours through move-in
- Process paperwork in accordance with subsidy programs
- Ensure a clean, safe environment is provided for residents and staff
