About The Position

The Site Manager (SM) supervises day‑to‑day production and fulfillment operations at MS sites, ensuring all processes, staff, and customer requirements are managed effectively. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and reviewing operational procedures, managing invoicing activities, and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure service expectations are met. The SM oversees 13+ employees or $80K+ in monthly service revenue at a single site. After ensuring all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, the SM partners with the customer to improve business processes through workflow optimization and use of Ricoh Process Director. This position requires strong IT familiarity and an in‑depth understanding of the client's environment, enabling effective communication with the customer’s IT resources. The SM also communicates business process opportunities to Sales and Professional Services, and supports the setup and management of additional production print customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience managing a production and/or customer‑service‑oriented team.
  • Experience delivering classroom and/or informal training sessions.
  • Experience operating advanced production equipment; continuous‑form print and mail‑insertion familiarity is highly desired.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively handle challenging customer situations.
  • Ability to identify innovative solutions in complex environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both positive and negative circumstances.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees, vendors, and customers.

  • Maintains daily customer contact within MS and as needed within BIS.
  • Provides training on workflows and machine operations.
  • Ensures operational quality by supporting audit and deadline‑compliance goals.
  • Ensures compliance with Federal Regulatory requirements and Customer SLAs.
  • Improves employee retention by meeting turnover and tenure goals.
  • Maintains efficient workflow by holding direct reports accountable for quality and efficiency.
  • Improves operational consistency by implementing company procedures.
  • Ensures proper staffing levels by aligning employee skills with production demands.
  • Recommends solution configurations to Sales and customers.
  • Acts as a workflow consultant to support business process improvements.
  • Facilitates resolution of pricing, orders‑in, and invoicing issues by collaborating with Sales.
  • Motivates employees and recognizes their accomplishments in a timely manner.
  • Clearly communicates expectations and consequences; trains, cross‑trains, coaches, counsels, directs, and evaluates staff to increase productivity and quality.
  • Completes site reports and required paperwork.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
