This role involves direct oversight of assigned afterschool program site operations, including personnel. The Site Liaison will regularly travel to assigned school sites, provide support to program site coordinators and tutor personnel, and document observations of program performance, employee concerns, areas for improvement, successes, and relations with school district personnel. The position requires maintaining documentation, submitting reports, and addressing employee issues in cooperation with HR. The Site Liaison will exercise discretion and independent judgment in evaluating reports, screening and hiring applicants, developing program standards, and participating in policy formulation. They will also conduct performance evaluations, mentor site coordinators, and maintain relationships with school administrative personnel and district representatives. The role includes representing CTFF at meetings, staying updated on changes affecting programs, responding to communications, and completing necessary company forms. Regular attendance is crucial for grant funding requirements, and attendance records must be reviewed for accuracy. The position also involves budgeting, recruitment, interviewing, hiring, placement, and assisting with substitute personnel. Additionally, the Site Liaison will attend and support academies, assist with coordination and training, prepare curriculum, and communicate attendance requirements. The role may also involve performing other duties as assigned by the program director, offering recommendations for program efficiency, and attending staff meetings.
