  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse or fulfillment teams, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience and a demonstrated ability to lead from the floor while stepping into operational roles when needed.
  • Build and document SOPs from the ground up, train teams on new processes, audit adherence, and continuously improve workflows to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, reconciliation, receiving, staging, kitting, and fulfillment while working effectively with inventory management systems or Warehouse Management System WMS platforms.
  • Coordinate parcel, LTL, and FTL shipments and apply strong knowledge of palletization, freight preparation, receiving, and outbound shipping requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with 3PLs, carriers, freight providers, and other logistics vendors while monitoring performance and resolving operational issues.
  • Track and improve KPIs, including on-time shipment rate, inventory accuracy, damage and defect rates, kit cycle time, labor productivity, and cost per kit using Excel, Google Sheets, Monday.com, or similar tools.
  • Plan labor, capacity, workflow, and daily priorities effectively to meet competing shipment deadlines and keep regional events on schedule.
  • Work directly on the warehouse floor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods, and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
  • Take extreme ownership, solve problems independently, and build structure and scalable processes in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align logistics execution with business and event requirements.
  • Bring a genuine passion for Visit.org’s mission and a desire to use operational excellence to create meaningful social impact.

  • Build and scale operating processes, designing and managing a scalable warehouse/operations workflow in alignment with the above, document SOPs, train the team on them, deploy, audit adherence, and continuously improve.
  • Lead from the floor and step into any station receiving, kitting, pick/pack, or outbound when volume or staffing requires it. This is a working lead, not a supervisor who only directs.
  • Daily prep & prioritization using shipment deadline visibility to decide what the floor works on first each day and keep events on schedule.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop staff; set day-to-day direction and give ongoing performance feedback in an agile, startup-minded culture.
  • Own the packing standards box selection, cushioning, void-fill that gets kits to clients intact, and avoid packing & damage prevention, and audit packing quality and run down root cause on any damage or complaint.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system reconciliation across kit components, raw materials, and finished kits.
  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day 3PL/carrier vendor relationship at the site level; track performance and escalate issues.
  • Manage warehouse layout, slotting, and peak-capacity planning across 30+ kit types.
  • Track and actively improve KPIs for on-time ship rate, damage/defect rate, inventory accuracy, kit cycle time, labor cost per kit, and dock-to-stock time.
  • Control labor costs budget, keep accountable to site expenses aligned to budget, and support cost tracking and reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams on event supply needs, ensuring logistics timelines match event schedules.
