About The Position

Peraton is seeking a cleared mid-level Site Lead with an engineering or construction background to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop a next generation satellite terminal. The program provides architectural, design, construction and engineering of terminals and systems support as well as operation and maintenance of Ground Terminals for DoD. This is an on-site position in Colorado Springs, CO on Shriever SFB, where you will be working closely with civilian subcontractors in addition to your primary team to build up the Ground Terminal facility and prepare it for antenna installations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree plus 8 years of related experience, or High-school Diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a completed degree
Engineering background or prior construction industry experience required
Proficiency with MS Office
Willing to take relevant trainings including safety, aerial lifts, telehandler.
Secret level clearance

Nice To Haves

Experience with MS Project is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with CAD or MS Visio

Responsibilities

Monitors construction activities, provides daily and weekly reporting and updates of status to prime
Coordinates with on-base personnel
Assists with permitting processes including documentation and coordinating visits to the site by decision makers
Attends meetings, provides some guidance to sub-contractors including site safety enforcement
Works with remote logistics team regarding shipping, base access coordination, site activity deconfliction
