About The Position

The Installation team is seeking a Site Inventory Lead to help prepare reports, correspondence, and/or statistics in regards to project specific items such as site safety, movement of materials and schedule requirements. Maintains records and filing systems; types and/or enters data into computer systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, or specialized software packages. Performs the administration of programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the organizational unit served. This position requires 100% travel.

Requirements

  • Applicable job specific military experience (i.e. Supply Corp, Army Corp of Engineers, CEC) will be credited
  • Minimum 3 years in materials inventory management experience within a project focused environment
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical components required
  • Minimum 1 year onsite leadership experience
  • Experience leading material handlers / Inventory Associates
  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication, influencing without authority, leadership skills, and competence in making recommendations for timely, effective, principles-based decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility and confidence with a wide variety of leaders.
  • Self Motivated with a desire to create a positive impact to the team
  • Experience in reporting effective KPI-driven operating / execution cadence.
  • Demonstrated team building skills with the ability to improve interaction and efficiency as well as the ability to break down barriers / silos.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong PC skills with MS Office
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office (especially Excel) and have strong organizational skills.
  • Must have experience with on line communication tools like Skype
  • Frequent inter-organizational and external contacts.
  • Must be able to professionally interact with individuals holding many different positions, both within the organization and external to Dematic.

Responsibilities

  • Handling inventory receipts, stow-away, picking / staging, transportation, inventory and action updates in Materials Management Tool.
  • Directing shipping/receiving/logistics Associates
  • May provide general guidance to others and train lower level employees.
  • Will receive direction from and provide instruction to a diverse labor force.
