Requirements

  • Experience as a construction technician, civil technician, or equivalent technical role.
  • Working knowledge of contract administration, including RFIs, change orders, progress tracking, and documentation protocols.
  • Proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD, field data collection applications, and general construction documentation systems.
  • Comfortable working outdoors on active project sites and meeting all safety requirements.
  • Understanding of construction materials, drawings, and standard methods used in municipal and transportation projects.
  • A commitment to delivering work that supports clients, communities, and sustainable infrastructure outcomes.
  • Driver's license to go to client site on a regular basis as you will be mostly working from within the Greater Toronto Area

Responsibilities

  • Support construction oversight activities on active project sites, ensuring quality, compliance, and adherence to design intent.
  • Conduct field reviews, collect data, track progress, and prepare site inspection reports to support project documentation and client communication.
  • Apply your contract administration skills by reviewing contractor submissions, supporting change management, tracking deliverables, and ensuring contract requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve site issues, propose solutions, and maintain smooth project execution.
  • Assist in preparing technical memos, progress updates, and verification documents for construction‑phase services.
  • Contribute to projects that improve transportation networks, municipal infrastructure, and community‑serving assets.
