Our Wilmington, MA site is entering an exciting phase of growth as we build and scale operations to support the future of radiopharmaceuticals and the patients who depend on them. THE ROLE We are seeking a hands-on HR Manager to serve as the Site HR Lead for our Wilmington, MA facility. Reporting to the General Manager, you will own day-to-day HR operations for a growing team of production, quality, and support professionals, and build the processes, policies, and culture that will carry the site through its next stage of growth. This is a role for a doer and a builder: someone equally comfortable resolving an employee concern on the production floor and designing the site’s next performance review cycle. Payroll processing, HRIS, and benefit plans are administered through ADP TotalSource, and our sister company’s HR team provides benefits and administrative support. You will coordinate closely with both and partner with Corporate HR to align on and deploy harmonized, company-wide HR processes, allowing you to focus on the hands-on work that matters most at the site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, including at least 3 years as the primary or sole on-site HR resource for a site or business unit.
  • Experience supporting hourly and production employees in a manufacturing, laboratory, or other operations environment.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on track record across recruitment, performance management, and employee relations, including leading investigations and managing separations. Candidates should be prepared to discuss specific examples.
  • Working knowledge of federal and Massachusetts employment law, including I-9, wage and hour, leave, and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with disciplined documentation habits and reliable follow-through.
  • Sound judgment and the discretion to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism.
  • Clear, direct communication skills and the ability to coach managers and build trust at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and HRIS reporting tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with a PEO, ideally ADP TotalSource / ADP Workforce Now.
  • Experience administering Massachusetts PFML, FMLA, and other leaves of absence, and managing unemployment claims, including responses and hearings.
  • Experience in an FDA- or NRC-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or radiopharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience partnering with a corporate HR function in a multi-site or global organization.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for production, quality, operations, and administrative roles, partnering with hiring managers on job descriptions, sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers to support the site’s continued growth.
  • Coordinate background checks, ensure timely and accurate Form I-9 completion through ADP TotalSource, and deliver an onboarding experience that gets new hires trained and productive from day one.
  • Run the site’s annual performance cycle, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans, and coach managers on feedback, documentation, and performance improvement plans.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and concerns; maintain a visible presence across all areas of the site; conduct fair, timely, well-documented investigations; and advise managers on corrective action and separations, escalating to Corporate HR as appropriate.
  • Own the employee handbook and site policies, drafting and rolling out updates in coordination with the General Manager, and support consistent, day-to-day policy adherence across the site.
  • Set and publish the site’s holiday schedule each year in coordination with the General Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and Massachusetts employment requirements (e.g., wage and hour, leave, MA PFML, pay transparency, required postings and training); maintain complete, confidential, audit-ready employee files in ADP; and partner with EHS and Quality on training records required in our FDA-, NRC-, and OSHA-regulated environment.
  • Coordinate benefits for site employees with ADP TotalSource and our sister company’s HR team, including open enrollment, new-hire and life-event changes, and employee questions, and serve as the site contact for payroll changes.
  • Manage Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML), FMLA, and other leave requests from notice through return to work, coordinating with ADP TotalSource and the state; and participate in unemployment claims management, including reviewing claims, preparing timely responses and documentation, and representing EZRI at hearings as needed.
  • Prepare a monthly people dashboard and other routine people reports for the General Manager covering headcount, hiring, turnover, time-to-fill, and compliance status, with trends and recommended actions.
  • Act as the site’s liaison to Corporate HR, deploying harmonized processes, programs, and policies locally and bringing site needs and feedback back to the corporate team.
  • Lead engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives that build a positive, accountable culture as the site scales.
