About The Position

LOGE <Location> is seeking a Site Host for our LOGE Camps site in city, state. This role involves splitting time between the front desk, cafe, retail, and gear rental responsibilities. The Site Host will learn reservation, POS, and gear rental software, ensuring smooth guest check-in and check-out. They will also be responsible for making and serving cafe food and beverages, adhering to food safety and alcohol service policies, and operating cafe and rental equipment. A working knowledge of retail and rental gear specs is also required. The position includes opening and closing shifts, cash handling procedures, and providing excellent guest service by developing a thorough knowledge of room types, local recommendations, and area attractions. Maintaining a neat and organized front desk, cafe, retail, and demo areas, as well as ensuring all guest areas are clean, is crucial. The Site Host will also assist with special events and group meetings, including AV and sound equipment setup, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

1+ years previous front desk, cafe, retail, and/or demo gear shop experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, and a general level of comfort with using the internet and learning new software programs.
Ability to communicate effectively and understand written and verbal instructions in English
Must have, or be able to obtain, a State Food Handler Card.
Must have, or be able to obtain, a State Alcohol Server Permit.

Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
Remaining on your feet for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Split time between the front desk, cafe, retail, housekeeping, and gear rental responsibilities.
Learn reservation, POS, and gear rental software. Ensure smooth check-in and check-out for all guests.
Make and serve cafe food and beverages and follow rules and policies about food safety and the responsible service of alcohol.
Have a working knowledge of how to operate cafe and rental equipment.
Learn the general specs of gear in the retail and rental shops.
Be able to work opening and closing shifts, and to follow cash handling procedures.
Take care of our guests and help answer their questions. Develop a thorough knowledge of room types and amenities, local recommendations and fun things to do in the area.
Keep the front desk, cafe, retail, and demo areas neat and organized.
Make sure all guest areas are clean, including public spaces.
Assist with special events and group meetings, including setup of AV and sound equipment.
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
