About The Position

The Site Hand is responsible for maintaining the yard and storage areas, inspecting/filling and loading propane cylinders or tanks for drivers and customers, and assisting drivers as needed. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, safety conscious and team oriented. This is a full-time position, available as either year-round employment or seasonal employment, depending on candidate availability and business needs.

Requirements

• Valid Driver License is required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of propane is a plus, but no experience is necessary
• Organized and detail oriented
• Safety-focused is a must

Responsibilities

• Inspects, repairs, fills and loads cylinders/tanks
• Handles and maintains flow of materials and products under safety guidelines
• Maintains shop and dock area to ensure a professional appearance and safe environment
• Serves as a public-facing representative, assisting customers and drivers
• Prepares and completes end-of-day paperwork and manifest documentation with accuracy
• Performs physical, outdoor work, including lifting and moving objects up to 20–50 lbs
