FanSided is seeking a Site Expert for Sounders Nation, a site dedicated to the Seattle Sounders. The role involves building a vibrant community, providing fresh daily content, and being a knowledgeable source for readers. Site Experts are expected to offer a mix of news and opinionated analysis, creating unique content. While FanSided offers support, the Site Expert will strategize content efforts. Compensation is based on article and site traffic, with rates varying by traffic, expert experience, and the specific site. FanSided is a rapidly growing fan-focused digital media network with a wide range of sports, entertainment, and lifestyle sites, offering opportunities for both experienced writers and newcomers to digital media.

- Must be able to write clearly and effectively in English.
Responsibilities
- Focus efforts on building a vibrant community environment around the Seattle Sounders.
- Provide readers with fresh daily content.
- Be viewed as the most knowledgeable on their respective fandom.
- Offer readers a healthy mix of news and opinionated analysis.
- Provide content that viewers can't read elsewhere.
- Lead a site that publishes a minimum of 50 total articles each calendar month.
- Personally write a minimum of 20 articles each month, with most writing between 25-30.
- Support the contributors on their team by editing their articles, offering feedback as needed, and suggesting topic ideas.
- Help with the site’s social media accounts (typically Twitter and Facebook) by sharing articles and creatively engaging with other fans.
