Site Expert - Jug of Snyder (Kansas State Wildcats)
About The Position
FanSided is seeking a Site Expert for Jug of Snyder, a site focused on the Kansas State Wildcats. The Site Expert will be responsible for building a vibrant community, providing daily fresh content, and being the most knowledgeable voice on the Kansas State Wildcats fandom. The role involves a mix of news and opinionated analysis, offering unique content to readers. While FanSided provides support and advice, the Site Expert will strategize content efforts. Compensation is based on monthly traffic to articles and the site, with rates varying by traffic, experience, and the specific site. Site Experts are expected to lead a site that publishes multiple daily content pieces, including news stories, analysis, and viral discussions. The Site Expert will produce the majority of the content and support other contributors by editing their articles, providing feedback, and suggesting topics. Additionally, the Site Expert will manage the site’s social media accounts (Twitter and Facebook) by sharing articles and engaging with fans. Strong English writing skills are required. FanSided is a rapidly growing digital media network for fans, offering opportunities for both experienced writers and those new to digital media. Contributors share their passion and knowledge as independent contractors.
Requirements
- Ability to write clearly and effectively in English.
- Must be able to strategize content efforts.
- Must be able to produce the majority of the posting requirements.
- Must be able to support contributors on their team by editing their articles, offering feedback as needed, and suggesting topic ideas.
- Must be able to help with the site’s social media accounts (typically Twitter and Facebook) by sharing articles and creatively engaging with other fans.
