About The Position

XYZ Reality is seeking a Site Engineer to deliver their core service on construction projects. This involves tracking construction progress against BIM models, conducting quality inspections on-site, and submitting findings to clients via the XYZ platform. The ideal candidate will have practical construction experience and be able to quickly adopt XYZ Reality's technology and workflows. XYZ Reality provides an engineering-grade Augmented Reality solution for the construction industry, utilizing smart, site-safe headsets called The Atom to ensure projects are completed within specified timescales and budgets. The company has over 100 staff across the UK, US & Europe and works with major organizations and construction companies on significant projects.

Requirements

• Experience working on construction sites.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Comfortable working with digital tools and software platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment.
• Basic IT Skills (Microsoft Suite).
• Must have a clean criminal record.
• Willing to undergo background checks and drugs tests due to security requirements of the projects we work on.

Responsibilities

• Track construction progress against BIM models using XYZ’s Augmented Reality Device – The Atom.
• Conduct on-site quality inspections and raise observations on the XYZ Platform.
• Ensure these QA Issues are submitted to the client on a daily basis.
• Be responsible for the quality of your work ensuring that it follows outlined workflows and standards.
• Maintain high levels of data accuracy and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with other engineers on-site to ensure full coverage of the project.
• Support the Lead Engineer in maintaining operational standards.
